Day 316
I have so many great photos of Sam and the Eiffel Tour, that I had to post several. When I was setting up the night shots at the Plaza Trocodero we were approached by 2 security guards to said Sam was not allowed there. We explained the project to them. They were very gracious, and said to move down and over where they couldn't see us, and continue to work. Pretty nice. Better than the guards at the Colosseum were.
They also told us that there are no tripods allowed in Paris. Really? Why? Well one must have a permit....65 Euros for amateur photographers. In a city as beautiful as Paris, I guess they have decided to capitalize by charging tourists for their beauty.
At 8pm the Eiffel Tour lights up with a light display, and ever hour after that on the hour the flashing light show starts for one minute. Magical.
Each day is a gift, open now.
