Day 17 Sam 365 Project

Day 17

Sam had a very special lunch at Etsy last Thursday.  We were so happy to be invited to lunch at "Eatsy." at Etsy's headquarters.  We got a great tour with Nicole, and Adriane.  I sat next to Julie at lunch.  So fun to be there.  Adriane and I had talked on the phone for over an hour last summer.  She is a doll!  Nicole is from my home town.  It was really great to have the personal touch that Adriane provided.  Thanks Ladies!

In the NYC Subway, we got a few strange looks.  But mostly the New Yorkers could have cared
less.  Sam really digs traveling.

Day 14

Sam is all boxed up, at them moment she is with our baggage in the plane. 
Delighted to have wifi on the plane: 30,000 feet in the air, going 600 miles an hour,
and I'm sitting in a chair!  NYC here we come.

The guys at the UPS store posing with Sam after the "box expert" made her a custom box that fit her
styrofoam clam shell.  Not all UPS stores are so wonderful.  This is the one at Academy and Wyoming in Albuquerque.

Day 11 Sam 365 Skeleton Project

Day 11

Sam's 3 teeth kept falling out of her mouth. She is a medical model, and designed to have them removed for teaching.  Her first plane ride shook them loose.  So we are getting ready for her big trip to NYC and Italy. She was a bit nervous. Natalie, Dr Gallagher's tech glued them in.
